Summary

SLAtech LTD is an Israeli software development company operating since 2004. We help people who built a product with AI tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt and others) and got stuck: we review the system, continue its development or rewrite what isn't worth fixing. On client projects people make the architecture and the decisions; AI only suggests.

Vibe-coded projects

Vibe-coded project stuck? We'll review it, fix it and take it to production

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot and Base44 let you build a working product fast. The hard part comes later: real users, payments, personal data, growing load. We review these systems, continue their development, or rewrite what isn't worth fixing. Whatever we fix, we stay responsible for.

Does this sound like your project?

Everything works in the demo, but real users run into errors and crashes.

Every new feature breaks something that used to work.

The AI tool goes in circles: it fixes one thing, breaks another and no longer sees the whole project.

A customer, partner or investor asks about security and data protection, and there is no answer.

The developer you hired struggles to make sense of the code and can't commit to deadlines.

Cloud or AI service bills keep growing and nobody knows why.

Where these projects usually break

Almost every AI-built project follows the same path. Problems don't show up at once; they appear at the move to the next stage.

1

Prototype

Runs on one machine with test data. No problems in sight yet.

2

First users

Simultaneous actions, unexpected data and errors that never showed up in the demo.

3

Payments and personal data

Access checks done in the browser, an open database, keys in the code. Here a mistake costs money and reputation.

4

Growth

Slow database queries, unnecessary AI calls, infrastructure bills growing faster than the user base.

5

Outside review

An investor, a large customer or data protection law: you need to show how the system is built and protected.

The earlier a problem is caught, the cheaper it is to fix. But a project that has already hit a wall can be saved too.

What happens when you contact us

1

A conversation

What the product is, what it was built with, what hurts right now and where you want to get to. No sales pitch.

2

Access to the code

A repository or an export from the tool the project was built in. Read-only access is enough. If you need it, we sign an NDA.

3

An initial assessment

We look at the architecture, the data, access rights and the riskiest parts.

4

A recommendation

We tell you plainly whether to fix, continue or rewrite, and why. In writing, in plain language.

5

The decision is yours

You can stop at the assessment and carry on with your own team.

Three ways forward

Audit

A detailed review of security, data and load, a written report and a fix plan. Right for you if your own team will do the fixing.

More about the audit

Continued development

We take your code as it is, close the critical issues and keep building the product. Whatever we fix and write, we are responsible for.

Discuss continuing

Rewrite

When fixing costs more than writing it again. Often not everything gets rewritten, only parts: data handling, access rights, payments. We plan the move so the product keeps running.

Discuss a rewrite

How we choose the path

Rewriting is not the default. We recommend the shortest path that gives a reliable result.

Fix it when the project is sensibly built overall and the problems are local: individual access checks, queries, keys.

Continue with us when the product already has users and needs to grow, and you have no team or your team can't keep up.

Rewrite a part when one area (data, access rights, payments) is easier to replace than to patch.

Rewrite it all only when fixes cost more than new code and still don't make it reliable.

The decision is always yours. We show what each option gives you, what you risk, and why we recommend the one we do.

Where we save the project

Typical situations AI-built projects bring to us. Each one can be fixed if it's caught in time.

The database is open to everyone

Data access rules aren't set up, so anyone with the public key can read or change other people's records. We set up access rules in the database and on the server.

Payment is checked in the browser

The price or payment status comes from the browser and can be tampered with. We move the check to the server and take confirmations straight from the payment provider.

Secrets in the code

Keys to AI services, payment providers and the database sit in the code or in its history. We rotate the keys and move them into a secure store.

It falls over under load

Queries without indexes, unnecessary AI calls, everything in one process. We find the bottlenecks and spread the load.

Nobody knows what changed

No change history, no tests, no separate environment to try things in. We set up a repository, tests for the main flows and deployment without manual steps.

The bills keep growing

Every user action calls the AI model again and nothing is reused. We cut the calls and set spending limits.

What stays yours

The code

All of it lives in your repository, under your account.

The access

Cloud, database, domain and payment provider are in your name. We work with the rights you give us.

The documentation

How the system is built, how to run it and where everything lives, written so the next developer can follow it.

The freedom to leave

No lock-in: at any point you can carry on with your own team or another vendor.

How we use AI ourselves

We use AI every day, but not the way vibe coding does. On client projects we follow four rules.

1

People decide

We design the architecture ourselves and make every decision.

2

AI suggests, a person commits

AI suggests a solution to a task a person set. We review it and put it into the project ourselves.

3

No access to secrets

The AI agent gets no access to the code, databases, connection strings, keys or passwords.

4

Nothing a person doesn't know about

There isn't a single line in the code that a person doesn't know about.

Frequently asked questions

It's a way of building software where the product is assembled with AI tools: you describe what you want in words and the AI writes the code. It's a fast way to get a working prototype.

Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, v0, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, Base44 and similar tools, as well as projects where AI-written code was later extended by hand.

No. Tell us what the product does and give us access to the code. We write the recommendation in plain language.

Yes, most of these tools let you export the code to a repository. We help move the project into your account and run it outside the tool.

Yes, by our own rules: architecture and decisions stay with people, AI only suggests, and on client projects it gets no access to the code or secrets. More in "How we use AI ourselves". You can keep using AI tools after we're done too: what matters is having tests, change review and a clear system structure around them.

No. A rewrite is the most expensive path, and we suggest it only when fixing costs more. Usually it's enough to fix specific spots or rewrite one part.

It depends on two things: the size of the project and how far it has drifted, meaning how much has to be changed and fixed. After the initial assessment we give you the scope and the cost before any work starts.

Whatever we fixed and wrote, we are responsible for, and we can keep supporting the system. If your team does the fixing, we run a follow-up review.

Tell us what you've built

Describe the product and what's holding it back. We'll take a look and suggest where to start: an audit, continued development or rewriting a part.
